FAQs

To ease your mind

What should I expect from my first session?

For your first session we would complete a consultation which will involve talking about the treatment, what it is and what you would like, and recording any medical history that may affect the treatment on a confidential record card.

After this is done and we are both happy to go ahead, I will leave the room to allow you to undress and get comfy on the bed under the towels.

I will respect your privacy at all times and any turns from being on your back to your front will be done discretely under the towel.

At the end of the treatment i will gently let you know that it has finished and leave the room to allow you a few minutes of rest, to come back into your body and then get dressed.

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

To prepare for your treatment drink lots of water, it would be nice for you to have a shower or a warm bath to start relaxing and feel fresh. Try to arrive with a calm mind; write your to-do list, answer your text messages and then turn off your phone - this is time for you now.
For any body massage you should undress to your underpants for maximum comfort and for a foot treatment, only removing your shoes and socks is necessary. Underwear must be worn at all times.

What should i do after the treatment?

After the treatment it is important to drink lots of water.

Avoid any strenuous exercise and take it easy for the rest of the day.

Avoid too hot baths or showers as it can affect your blood pressure following a massage.

It is common for people to experience a healing crisis; this is due to a release of stuck energies in the body. This could involve anything from crying to laughing or fatigue to lots of energy, so stay grounded, know it will pass and that it is a positive reaction!

What are you doing to protect against Covid-19?

To support the safety and well being of my clients I will ensure to wash my hands thoroughly between each client and use a hand sanitiser, I will provide disposable face-hole covers for the massage bed, which will be sanitised and wiped after each client and towels will be washed at a high temperature between each use.

You may wear a face mask during the treatment if you are concerned.
